Signing in

My sign-in code didn’t arrive

Codes usually arrive within a minute. Check your spam or junk folder first — it comes from an automated address, and filters often catch it.

If nothing shows up, wait for the timer on the code screen and ask for a new one. A new code cancels the old one, so always use the most recent email. If codes never arrive at all, your email provider may be blocking them — email us and we’ll help.

Can I change my email address?

Not in the app yet. Your email is tied to your account and active challenge, so changing it safely means starting a new account. Email us and we’ll walk you through it.

Adding a partner

How do I invite someone?

When you set up your challenge, choose to do it with a partner. UNIT75 gives you an 8-character code you can send however you like.

The code works once and expires after 7 days. Once your partner joins, it stops working — a challenge never has more than two people.

Their code says it changed or expired

A code is tied to the exact list that existed when it was made. If you edited your list or start date after sending it, the code stops working — that way nobody joins a challenge they didn’t agree to. Just send a fresh code.

Can I do this on my own?

Yes. Going solo is a proper mode, not a fallback. Every screen adjusts — no empty partner column, no nudges to invite anyone.

How do I end a partnership?

Go to Settings → Account → End partnership. They lose access to your progress straight away, and you lose access to theirs. Your account stays.

Circle

How do I add friends to my Circle?

Open Circle and choose Connect. Share the private, single-use link or 8-character code. The invitation links your current solo challenge or partnership with theirs, and every person on both sides must approve. Each connection stands alone, so your connections never see one another.

What can a Circle connection see?

They see your name, colour, current Day, today’s completed count, completed days, streak, and aggregate 75-day status map. They never see commitment names or targets, weight, reflections, private Progress Photos, email, gender, or exact time zone.

How do I report or block someone?

Use the options inside a connection or beside a Circle Moment. Reporting hides the Moment from you and sends the report to UNIT75 for human review. A restricted copy may be held for up to 30 days while we investigate. Blocking closes the affected connection and makes both sides invisible to each other across Circle progress, Moments, support, invitations, and notifications. For safety or support help, email unit75app@gmail.com.

Why was a shared Moment hidden or not sent?

Every shared Moment requires Apple’s on-device Sensitive Content Analysis to return a successful, non-sensitive result for the exact upload bytes. If the Apple setting is off, changes during the check, cannot analyze the photo, or identifies sensitive content, UNIT75 keeps the photo private and does not upload it. When protection is active on the receiving iPhone, received photos are also checked before display and may remain hidden until the person chooses what to do. The check and result stay on the device and are not sent to UNIT75 or an outside moderation service.

Day to day

When does my day end?

At midnight where you are — not where your partner is, and not on our servers. If you’re in different countries you each get a full day. The countdown uses our clock, not your phone’s, so changing your phone’s time won’t buy you extra hours.

I ticked things off with no signal. Did I lose them?

No. It saves on your phone and syncs on its own once you’re back online. Anything that arrives late is marked as synced late, so the record stays honest.

There’s a 72-hour limit. After that a saved change won’t go through, because by then it isn’t really a signal problem.

Can I change a past day?

No. Past days are locked on purpose. A missed day stays missed — the challenge doesn’t reset, and you carry on from where you are.

Can I change my list partway through?

Your list locks once both of you confirm it. That’s deliberate — a shared challenge only means something if the terms hold. You can still adjust your own targets where an item allows it.

Photos and privacy

What’s the difference between shared photos and progress photos?

Progress photos are private. You take them in the app and they stay on your phone. They are never uploaded or shown to your partner, and we can’t get them back if you lose your phone.

Moments use the audience you choose on the preview. Just Me stays on this iPhone and is not uploaded or analyzed. Partner or Circle Moments send only after you confirm, and details like location are stripped out first. Apple’s sensitive-content protections apply according to each person’s iPhone settings.

Can I save my progress photos elsewhere?

Yes — each photo has a “Save a Copy to Photos” button. It saves one at a time on purpose. Once it’s in your photo library, it’s handled by iOS, not by us.

Why are my notifications silent at night?

Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM your time. Notifications in that window are skipped rather than saved up, so you don’t wake up to a pile of them. You can change reminder times in Settings → Notifications.

Payment and your account

How do I cancel?

Apple handles the billing. Cancel at your Apple subscription settings, or in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds go through Apple, not us.

Does my partner need to pay too?

Yes. You each pay for your own. There’s no shared or family plan right now.

I paid but the app says I haven’t

Go to Settings → Membership and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple Account you paid with. If that doesn’t fix it, email us the date you paid and we’ll sort it out.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. You’ll need to sign in again first. See deleting your account for exactly what gets removed.

Still stuck?

Tell us what you were doing and what happened instead. Screenshots help. Please never send passwords, sign-in codes, or invite codes.
